This Privacy Policy describes how StarkRender ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

Account data: name, email address, and company name when you sign up
Payment data: processed by Stripe — we never store your card details
API usage data: request timestamps, IP addresses, render counts, and endpoints called
Rendered content: the HTML you submit is processed and temporarily stored as images for 30 days

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Service
To manage your account, billing, and usage limits
To send transactional emails (receipts, usage alerts)
To detect and prevent abuse of the API

3. Data Retention

Rendered images are automatically deleted after 30 days. Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months for billing and abuse-prevention purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy
Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. May log IP addresses in transit
Google Analytics — anonymous website usage statistics on starkrender.com

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in to the dashboard. We use Google Analytics cookies on the marketing site (starkrender.com) for anonymous traffic analysis. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@starkrender.com. Account deletion removes your profile and API keys. Usage logs may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion for fraud prevention.

7. Security

API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
